History of Science and Engineering Annotation << Back Integration Role of the Program «Siberia» in the Study of Productive Forces in the Region N.A. Kupershtokh In the article, the history of a large complex program «Siberia» at the initial stage of its implementation in the 1978–1980 years is considered. The program «Siberia» united hundreds of scientists from academia and industry institutes, universities, experts from the ministries and departments for the study of the productive forces in the region. The results of this program influenced the acceleration of the modernization of the economy of Siberia in the second half of XX century.
