Abdulvahabova In article the traditional clothes of Chechens XVI – the XIX-th century beginnings, as a valuable source not only on studying of material culture of the people, but also as the high-grade historical source bearing the important information on various spheres of activity of the Chechen ethnos are considered. Studying of traditional clothes of Chechens gives the chance to track its multilevel system, local elements, hence, it is the major historical source demanding the further research in different aspects.
