History of Science and Engineering Annotation << Back Folklore and Ethnographic Reconstruction Traditional Suit of Adyghe (Sources, Tradition, Present) Gucheva A.V. Today many components of ceremonial system of Adyghe are lost, there is a gradual process of disappearance of a traditional world outlook complex. In this context questions of permission of complex problems of revival and the restoration which has been almost lost in the present, the forgotten and disappearing cultural monuments, including remarkable traditions of sewing, an embroidery and other types of jewelry of clothes of Adyghe gain the special importance. In traditional ceremonialism the special place was taken always by a suit as a peculiar ethnic sign and a certain symbol. It is known that the traditional clothes were adapted not only for severe northern climate, but at the same time its breed and jewelry отражали complete system of attitude of the people, made a special symbolical complex. In types and types of clothes of Adyghe throughout centuries there were noticeable changes in breed, in jewelry and in a color combination. These transformations were carried out by gradual evolution and were caused by social and economic, historical, cultural, ethnoecological, technogenic and other factors. Speaking about traditional clothes of Adyghe, we subject to studying traditional clothes from the most ancient source of the Adyghe epos. This time of fixation of the first oral informative sources on spiritual and material culture, including on clothes of Adyghe, as the most archaic on breed, and «a real complex». Low-study of this time dictates need of studying of traditional clothes of this period. Conducted earlier archaeological and ethnographic researches completely prove an existing of an archaic complex of clothes of Adyghe in specified historical time. The traditional clothes are the not stiffened canons, it develops, though the slowed-down rates, under influence both external, and internal factors.
