History of Science and Engineering Annotation << Back Organization of Automobile Transport Work in Dagestan During the war Period (1941–1945) Alilov A.N. Alilova K.M. The research of the work of automobile transport in Dagestan during the Great Patriotic War is provided, based on the archive sources and periodicals. The article describes how road construction workers and the entire population of the republic worked hard to maintain the work of the existing road network. The authors study the issue of automobile transport use, which during the Great Patriotic War got significantly extended. The article reveals the significance of captured and foreign vehicles which was received by the country by means of land-lease. The specifics of mastering, exploitation and maintenance of multi-brand motor vehicles is emphasized on. The article shows the role of automobile transport during the on-time export of historical valuables, evacuation of industrial enterprises and population. The exact labor organization of automobile industry workers is thoroughly studied, as well as the building of their responsibility for the quality of the work performed. An enormous in its amount and importance work is shown, which was laid on the shoulders of the State Auto Inspection employees.
