Neverova The history of the formation and development of the Institute for Complex Analysis of Regional Problems Far Eastern Branch Russian Academy of Sciences is presented in the paper with using of archival and literary data. The changes in areas of researches of the Institute’s staff for 25 years are shown. The main scientifi c results at different stages of development of the Institute are listed. Its modern structure and areas of scientifi c researches and organizational activities are given in the paper.
