STUDIES OF THE FAR EAST
HYDROTHERMAL SYSTEMS
IN THE CONTEXT OF ORIGIN
OF THE BIOSPHERE |

The results of investigation of some Far-Eastern hydrothermal systems connected with the biosphere origin problem are considered. The
research was carried out in ICARP in two directions: a) exploration of organic matter in thermal water; b) exploration of thermodynamic
fl uctuations in the medium. In the framework of the fi rst direction the following aspects were defi ned: the list of organic compounds, their
relative contents, variability and genesis. Multilevel fl uctuations of water-steam mixture pressure (amplitudes, periods/frequencies) were
characterized on the second goal. These data allowed concretize one of the key thesis of the inversion model of the biosphere origin proposing
the necessity of signifi cant thermodynamic fl uctuations in the origin-of-life medium.
