Lebedev Like no other country in the world, Russia must be organized by the GIS space, i.e.systematic knowledge about natural objects and their spatial arrangement and interaction with society.The vast territory rich in natural resources, uneven socio-economic development of regions with their desire for economic independence require full ownership of the information,to comprehensively assess the degree of sustainability of all components, including economic potential, demographics, quality of life, human resources.Without this, according to the author of the article published below, it is impossible to fully weigh the consequences of decisions and to develop strategic scenarios.
