FROM THE HISTORY OF THE DOMESTIC INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINES |

The contribution of Russian engineers in the creation of internal combustion engines (ICE) and the development of the industrial engine
in Russia in the period from 1870 to 1910. The role of national inventors – I. Kostovich, B.G. Lutsk, Y.V. Mom, E.A. Yakovlev in the creation
of various types of internal combustion engines. It is shown that the history of domestic engine is connected with the activities of the Russian Technical Society, which was the initiator of the fi rst congress of workers engaged in the construction and application of the internal combustion engine in 1910 in Moscow, as well as two international exhibitions ICE, held in 1910 in St. Petersburg and Ekaterinoslavl .
