History of Science and Engineering Annotation << Back SPECIFICS OF WORK OF IRKUTSK RADIOCOMMITTEE IN THE PERIOD OF THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR I.A. Kolokolnikov In the article specifi cs of extensive activity of Irkutsk radio-committee in the 1941–1945 are considered. Earlier activity of this organization in period of the Great Patriotic War didn’t become the object of historical researches. Specifi cs of the work of radio-committee in this period are characterized by that this organization was not only mass media, but also the most important cultural center of the region. The most important that at radio-committee there were musical collectives of the professional status, largest in the region. The author of this research in the process of work with it collected and analyzed materials of archives and libraries of Irkutsk and Moscow.
