«GENESIS OF "TECHNOLOGICAL PUNKS" IN MULTIMEDIA GAMES (HISTORICAL AND THEORETICAL ASPECTS)» |

The article examines the Genesis of the development of the timpunk subgenres: steampunk, atompunk and stonepunk. The primary sources of «technological punk», the formation of specifi c features and development in multimedia art are revealed. For example, multimedia games we study the process of implementing features of the genre of «technological punk». Prerequisites and development of «steampunk» in the book environment, Board games, fi lm industry and the transition to a multimedia environment. Subsequent formation of the sub-genres of «technological punks» and the context of occurrence, possible methods of usage of the setting in the multimedia games and the specific use of expressive means in the examples of video games. The impact of settings on interactive art and the formation of new multimedia games is studied. Highlighted examples of synthesis multiple setting timpunk in one multimedia product on the example of several video games.
