History of Science and Engineering Annotation << Back NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING IN INDUSTRY: HISTORY AND CONTEMPORANEITY S.N. Sazonov The article presents historical moments of non-destructive testing methods development. The possibilities of modern non-destructive testing methods in relation to objects of different physical nature are observed. Metrological possibilities of the new non-destructive testing method – the modulation differentiation method – are described. The versatility of this method is shown and its applicability as a primary diagnostic information collecting method for production facilities monitoring subsystems in industrial Internet systems and production safety systems is justified.
