History of Science and Engineering Annotation << Back VALUE OF THE FOREIGN CAPITAL FOR DEVELOPMENT OF OIL INDUSTRY OF RUSSIA IN THE LAST THIRD OF XIX–THE BEGINNING OF THE XX CENTURIES V.N. Krasivskaya In article one of the most significant factors for development of the oil industry of Russia during the studied period – presence of foreign businessmen and attraction of the foreign capitals is considered. A conclusion that the role of the foreign capital in development of the oil industry and economy of Russia consisted in creation of a business environment, favorable to the domestic industry, orientation on domestic market and contribution to increase in its capacity is formulated.
