THE ONLY «UNIVERSITY WITHOUT TEACHERS» IN THE WORLD AND THE METHOD OF COLLECTIVE MUTUAL LEARNING |

In 1928–1930 in Moscow in the OGVTO (Association of groups for higher technical education) – in the college, created by the students themselves – the most ambitious experiment on mastering the profession of an engineer was carried out by students. Thanks to the successful application of the A.G.Rivin’s method of collective mutual learning received higher education there without teachers – therefore, the OGVTO was called a «wild university» or «university without professors». The technology of the method is described, which allows to achieve amazing results in the joint training of people of different ages and different levels of training. The results of the verification of the effectiveness of training of students of the OGVTO by the authoritative commission of the People’s Commissariat for Education are described, the further destiny of the unique technical school is described.
