TO THE HISTORY OF DEVELOPMENT OF A COMPETENCEORIENTED APPROACH IN THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS |

In Russia, the network of health centers and schools for different groups of the population has been expanding over the past years, and training technologies for organizing healthy lifestyles and providing psychological support for their functioning have been developed. An increasing role is being given to patient education programs in order to increase their awareness and active involvement in the health, medical, diagnostic and rehabilitation process. Currently, the main actor in the educational process in teaching Smoking patients are, for the most part, General practitioners, who, guided by some methodological material, based on their professional and psychological and pedagogical knowledge, skills and abilities, develop and implement the training process. The quality of the educational process, the quality of training of Smoking patients and, as a result, the effectiveness of quitting Smoking depend on the pedagogical and psychological competence of the doctor who acts as a professional, his professional and personal characteristics.
