History of Science and Engineering Annotation << Back Heating and Centralized Heat Supply in Russia: Practice of the Past and Present M.M. Zvyagintseva, N.D. Savochkina The main direction of the Russian energy sector is district heating and district heating, as the dominant way to meet the needs of cities in heat, which over the years has already established itself as an effective way to provide heat. Thus, it is necessary to analyze the path already covered in order to outline a plan for the future movement, to identify and work out the mistakes made. The authors of the article consider the process of formation of the Russian thermal power industry and analyze the experience of the past years.
