Muradaliev The development of the world economy received a powerful impetus during the development of road transport. Now it is possible to quickly move goods from one region to another. At present, the movement of goods within Russia is almost completely tied to freight road transport, since it has significant competitive advantages over rail transport, which are due to the absence of the need to reload goods, the low cost of transporting goods and high speed compared to rail transport. Considering the above, the author made an attempt at scientific analysis and critical understanding of the history of the development of road transport.
