Muradov, A.N. Alilov, K.M. Alilova The article is devoted to the issues of industrial development of Dagestan in the 50–60s of the XX century. In modern conditions, when the economic situation forces us to turn to issues that faced the republic in the middle of the last century, but have not been practically resolved so far. In this sense, the interest in the issues of the industrial development of the republic is natural, since the desire to move forward is natural, taking into account the experience of the past and not repeating mistakes. This is associated with an increased interest in the issues of industrial development of the republic in the period under study.
