History of Science and Engineering Annotation << Back Evolution of the Regulatory Framework in the Field of Thermal Protection of Residential Buildings Yudin A.A., Udalova E.A., Mazitov R.M., Kuznetsova Yu.I., Astafyeva A.D., Zhukova Yu.A. The stages of formation of standards for the design and construction of residential buildings from the point of view of their thermal protection, starting from the 1920s, are considered. until now. It is shown how the requirements for thermal protection of buildings changed in the process of development of construction technologies and the production of modern building materials at each historical stage. Comparative data on thermal protection standards in various countries are presented. It has been established that the successful solution to the problem of increasing the thermal effi ciency of external fences directly depends on the correct selection and use of thermal insulation material.
