Thermally Effi cient Walls for Reconstruction and of Existing Buildings |

Nowadays the condition of the load-bearing and enclosing building structures of most multi-storey buildings which built in Soviet times, as well as the
physical deterioration of internal and external utilities, is approaching a dangerously critical level. The domestic construction complex is gradually beginning to
reorient itself towards reconstruction as the main strategically important economic task. An external wall using the FTICS (facade thermal insulation composite
systems with external plaster layers) is one of the most effective modern structures with an increased level of thermal protection. This specifi ed type of thermally
effi cient wall can be used both in new buildings and in the reconstruction and rehabilitation of existing panel and brick residential buildings of mass production
built in the 1950–1980s. The article presents the large-scale program implementation results of capital repairs (rehabilitation) buildings built in the 1950–1980s,
one of the elements is the facades insulation.
