History of Science and Engineering Annotation << Back Preconditions of Organizing Gasoline and Soot Plants in the Territory of the Republic of Bashkortostan Astashina M.V., Zentsov V.N. The article examines the development of bodies and methods of management of the oil industry of the USSR from the end of the 19th century to the 1930–1950s. The period of formation of gasoline and carbon black enterprises in the Ural-Volga region is shown. The main points of the stages of commissioning of the First Tuymazinsky Gasoline Plant, as well as the fi rst stage of the Second Tuymazinsky Gasoline Plant are presented.
