History of Science and Engineering Annotation << Back Analytical Review of the Worldwide Park of Electroerosion Copying Machines Zaytsev A.N. In this paper, in retrospect, the main design features and technical characteristics of Sinker EDM machines of various layout solutions, which were mass-produced by domestic and foreign machine tool companies in the period 1943–2023, are considered. A comparative characteristic of the technical indicators of electrochemical machines and an assessment of promising areas of development are given. The article may be useful to researchers and engineering and technical specialists working in the fi eld of electrophysical and electrochemical processing and dealing with practical design, development and development of this technology and equipment.
