History of Science and Engineering Annotation << Back Joseph Semenovich Gonorovsky and His Contribution to Theoretical Radio Engineering Erofeev Yu.N. In the article the life and creative activity of Iosif Semenovich Gonorovcky (1907–1995), an outstanding Soviet scientist in the fi eld of theoretical radio engineering and tutor of the Higher School, are narrated. A.A. Raspletin attended lectures of Gonorovcky in the radio engineering specialists fast training faculty of the Higher School; he was scientifi c adviser of B.V. Bunkin at the stage of his Ph. D thesis preparation and adviser of future academicians , our renowned chief designers of air defense missile complexes.
