History of Science and Engineering Annotation << Back On the Issue of the Socio-Economic Role of the Kulaks in Russia from the Stolypin Reform to Dispossession Vinogradov A.A. The article is devoted to the history of the kulaks in Russia from the time of the reform of Pyotr Arkadyevich Stolypin to the liquidation of the kulaks as a class during the period of collectivization under the leadership of Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin. This material examines the process of the infl uence of Stolypin's reform on agriculture, and analyzes its signifi cance for the development of the country. In addition to the above, the article examines the positive infl uence of the kulaks on the process of restoring food security in Soviet Russia in the initial period of the New Economic Policy and the threat to food security of the country from the kulaks at the late stage of the New Economic Policy.
