Some features of the formation of information technologies by the initial components are considered. Their historical chronologies and development paths are given. The benefits, risks and prospects of information technology in the future are outlined. The connection of this fi eld with fundamental philosophical concepts such as reason, consciousness, cognition is shown. The main components of modern information technologies are presented using the example of unmanned aerial vehicles with the ability to control them.
