History of Science and Engineering Annotation << Back Academician A.N. Frumkin E.I. Khruscheva Present article gives the main facts of Frumkin’s biography. He was outstanding specialist in physical chemistry and modern theoretical electrochemistry. He was a director of the Institute of Physical Chemistry in the period of 1939–1949, in 1958 he organized and headed the Institute of Electrochemistry. His scientific activities as well as his role in scientific development, in social life of our country and in foeign relations are codsidered.
