History of Science and Engineering Annotation << Back From the history of department of metrological assurance of pressure measurements S.M. Kesselman The history of establishing and development of the department, tightly connected with activities of a wonderful person – prof. M. Zhokhovsky, who devoted 70 years of his life to metrology – to problems of reproduction of liquids and gas pressure scale, is presented in this essay. The processes of creation of the new equipment and new directions of research, as well as formation of like-minded group is described in details.
