Nosov From the position of history of technics there was analyzed the formation and development of radiation-resistant microelectronics in NPP «Sapphire» and estimated the role of administrative innovations of the enterprise director in abrupt acceleration of this development in the current decade. The general historical regularities of the progress of semiconductor electronics that can be taken as a principle historic-technical expert appraisal of large innovation projects in this sphere are revealed.
