History of Science and Engineering Annotation << Back Formation of Udmurt Musical Folklore Studies in 1920s I. M. Nurieva The article deals with the process of regional science formation in the post-revolution period. Materials of rare editions of 1920s and archival data on the Udmurt song folklore are analyzed in historical context. Methods of work with the first musicians’ folklore materials are found out, their role and the place in the history of Udmurt musical folklore studies is defined in the article.
