In an article in chronological order the research and development of IIMM KSC RAS for tasks solving of mineral resources mining and ore-dressing are presented. . The first major development was the system of mountain bump hazard estimation. This work was started at the Mining Institute, and completed at the Institute of Informatics KSC RAS. Another research area involves the development of models, modeling techniques and software tools for solving of problems research and improves of ore-dressing processes and devices. Work in this area is continues at the Institute about15 years. In close cooperation with the staff of the Mining Institute KSC RAS the functions and structure of the system is designed to management information support of the ore-dressing processes. The computer model of the separation process based on the use of various mathematical apparatus, technologies and systems to simulation are created. The results of computer simulations make it possible to predict the dynamics of the enrichment processes and separation characteristics of the products. The use of simulation can improve efficiency enrichment processes control and make recommendations for improving the design of enrichment devices.
