The crystal-chemical aspects of minerals, subjected to ion-beam influence by the high-dose ionic implantation, are analyzed. The mechanisms of the localization of iron-group implanted-ions in frame of the crystal structure are investigated by the examples of oxide and silicate minerals and their synthetic analogs. The possibility to use the methods of ionic implantation is discussed in frame of gemology practice for ennoblement of jewelry-jobbing mineral source.
