On an example of the scientific biography of the author, spanning more than half a century, some problems of management, decision which the author has been directly involved: pneumatics as a means of automation of production processes; logical control of discrete processes on the basis of the graph operations and standard positional structure; modeling of complex systems using formal logic and display apparatus for process networks. Memoirs of participants work can complement official history of science.
