Engineer Sahac G. Isaakov (Isaakyan) – Emmanuel Nobel Prize Winner |

The article is dedicated to engineer Sahak G. Isaakov (Isaakyan) – the last winner of obscure Emmanuel Nobel Prize, awarded by Baku branch of the Imperial Russian Technical Society for scientific and technological developments in the oil industry in 1908–1918. Studying of the family archive documents, supplemented by information from published sources allowed to outline the range of technical problems in the fields of oil engineering and water supply for the railways had been solved by S.G. Isaakov. Summarizes the role of the Nobel's family in the development of domestic industries and also provides some information about the three Prizes connected with that name. Two of which were awarded in Russia.
