Historical analysis of synthetic rubber production from divinyl from 1903 to 2014 in Russia, based on ethanol, the relevance of which use as an alternative petroleum source dictated projected exhaustion of oil resources. The necessity of a technology nano structure catalyst development for a new generation, as well intensification of ethanol conversion process into divinyl by using initiators is demonstrated.
