Petrishchevsky, M.A. Vasilyeva The content and history of ideas of an origin, structure and geodynamics of geological structures in the crust and upper mantle of Northeast Asia are considered. Article is followed by geophysical models of the tectonosphere deep structure of the region proving its high tectonic stratifi cation. The conclusion is received that perspective and the most preferable concepts for further development are the plume tectonics and layered tectonosphere ones, who fi nd multiple confi rmations in the existing geologic-geophysical data.
