History of Science and Engineering Annotation << Back THE HISTORICAL EXPERIENCE OF THE TEST OPERATION OF THE FIRST OIL FIELDS IN WESTERN SIBERIA AND ITS APPLICATION THE PRESENT STAGE A.R. Kurchikov, V.N. Borodkin, M.V. Komgort, V.P. Karpov The article analyzes the main problems of the pilot operation of oil fi elds of Tyumen region in 1964. It is shown the mechanism of adoption of the relevant governmental decrees and diffi culty of their practical realization. The special attention is paid to a role of the Tyumen geologists in production of the fi rst industrial oil. It is noted the value of this event, as the major argument which confi rmed opening in Western Siberia of the largest oil-and-gas province and proved possibility of creation in the region of new base of oil production. It is considered the possibility of using the experience of test operation of oil and gas fi elds by the modern geological organizations for self-preservation of the enterprises and equitable distribution of profi t on production of hydrocarbons.
