Karabanov The objective of this article is to explore the development of the key tendencies in the process of birth, development and transformation into a Russian national anthem from the time of Peter the Great the Soviet national anthem 1943. From the so-called «British» anthem «God Save the King/Queen», the Russian folk anthems to «International» and Soviet anthem. Lots of research works published in Internet have been used in this work.
