Potapenko International cooperation Vniive FSBI research Institute with scientists from Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, Romania, Hungary, Ukraine, Belarus has a long history and the diversity in form and content. Signed long-term bilateral agreements on scientifi c and technical cooperation and identifi ed areas for a wide range of issues: breeding and genetics, ampelography and exchange of gene pools, the production of virusfree planting material, development of methods for identifying the sources of Mycoplasma and bacterial contamination, testing of grapes for viruses, Mycoplasma and bacterial cancer by the method of apical meristem in vitro culture, etc. currently, FSBI «All-Russian research Institute of viticulture and winemaking named after Ya.I. Potapenko» continues to carry out international scientifi c cooperation with related scientific institutions and private breeding companies.
