Gavrilov, K.A. Manaychev, A.S. Sychov, V.A. Klachkov, M.S. Saburov The recent seismicity of Northern Sakhalin and its offshore zone is analyzed. The analysis based on detailed seismological observation. The results of this paper provide a lot of experimental data for applied and fundamental investigations including induced seismicity studies. The earthquakes source zone was studied that made it possible to defi ne how to earthquakes located according to active faults, specify lineament structure and clarify magnitude-frequency distribution of seismicity. All of this is required for refi ning seismic potential of Northern Sakhalin and its offshore zone.
