History of Science and Engineering Annotation << Back FUTURISM IN ART: ORIGINS, AESTHETICS, EVOLUTION V.O. Petrov The article is devoted to one of the most important trends in the art of the twentieth century – Futurism, having not only a number of iconic works in all areas of art, but also a powerful theoretical springboard. The analysis of the main items of futuristic manifestos (as foreign – F. Marinetti and Russian – K. Malevich), revealed their importance in the formation of new genres, writing techniques, styles and artistic phenomena. We consider the most important futuristic compositions – shown in an example of literary composition V. Khlebnikov and D. Burliuk, musical opus J. Cage and L. Russolo, visual creativity U.
