STRAPDOWN INERTIAL NAVIGATION SYSTEMS USED FOR AIRCRAFT WITH HELICAL ENGINES VIBROPROTECTION DEVICES DESIGN STAGES |

The article considers strapdown inertial navigation systems (SINS) used for unmanned aircraft (UA) with helical engines vibroprotection. Aircraft SINS are being developed in Russia by a number of enterprises, but only those of Moscow institute of electromechanics and automatics (MIEA) are manufactured seriallyandusedas serial and prospectivecivilian and military aircraft board equipment. BINS-SP-1 (SINS developed by MIEA) application as the basic navigation system of an unmanned aircraft problem is formulated and solved in the article. The fi rst BINS-SP-1 testing on UA board detected loss of SINS accuracy due to specific vibration, so that additional vibroprotection usage is being necessary. The article considers the damped platform (DP) intended to reduce the vibration action development. The dampers choice and DP constructionare studied.
