History of Science and Engineering Annotation << Back PROVIDING SCIENTIFIC INFORMATION ARCHIVE ACTIVITY IN THE CONDITIONS OF BUILDING THE INFORMATION SOCIETY E.L. Sushentsova The article deals with the issues of ensuring of scientifi c-information activities of a branch of LLP through the use of information technology. In automated fi nding AIDS of the archive includes electronic catalogues: «technical and scientifi c documentation, patent directory» and «Directory access». The branch has four thematic databases: «outstanding fi gures of science and technology», «repressed technical intelligentsia», «fi gures of aviation, cosmonautics and rocket production», «scientists, inventors, Samara oblast». The branch site acquaints with the activities of the branch attracts the user's attention to the events archive and contributes to the promotion of archival documents. The expansion of scientifi c-reference apparatus for the documents of the branch contributes to the ongoing in recent years, digitization of archival documents.
