History of Science and Engineering Annotation << Back TO THE 60TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE INSTITUTE OF AUTOMATION AND ELECTROMETRY OF THE SIBERIAN BRANCH OF THE RUSSIAN ACADEMY OF SCIENCES A.M. Shalagin June 2017 is the 60th anniversary of the Institute of Automation and Electrometry of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IA&E SB RAS). Research activities currently pursued at IA&E SB RAS include optics, laser physics, spectroscopy, physics of condensed media, development of precision optical technologies, systems, and their elements, and integrated new-generation information-computational systems with the use of electronic and optical technologies. The history of the Institute and the basic results of research performed at the Institute are considered.
