History of Science and Engineering Annotation << Back NONLINEAR DYNAMICS OF OPTICAL SYSTEMS K.P. Komarov Results of investigations performed at the Laboratory of Nonlinear Physics of the Institute of Automation and Electrometry of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences are presented. The major attention is focused on activities dealing with nonlinear light dynamics of optical systems: lasers, fi ber laser systems, and fi ber communication lines. Key research areas include the formation and stability of various light patterns defi ning regimes of generation and propagation of light in such systems.
