HIGH-PRECISION MEASUREMENT OF ABSOLUTE VALUE AND VARIATIONS OF GRAVITY BY LASER BALLISTIC GRAVIMETER |

The basic instruments of the modern gravimetric research are absolute laser gravimeters «GABL-M», «GABL-E» and «GABL-PM», developed and produced at the Institute of Automation and Electrometry of Siberian branch of the Russian Academy of Science. Ballistic measurement method of gravity acceleration absolute value became the most accurate and perspective for further development with the advent of highly stable sources of coherent light radiation (lasers) in the end of the sixties and early seventies. Results of highest accuracy gravimetric point creation and temporal gravity variations in seismoactive regions and in the border zone continent-ocean are shown in this article.
