Alilova, A.N. Alilov, M.M. Muradov Article is devoted to freight automobile transportation in Dagestan during N.S. Khrushchev's reforms. On the basis of studying of periodicals and archival materials, and also memoirs literature freight automobile transportation and their role in processes of modernization of social and economic and cultural life of the people of the Republic of Dagestan are investigated. It is traced how administrative and economic actions of those years exerted impact on the increased volumes of freight automobile transportation. Process of updating and specialization of the rolling stock which made more effective service of economy branches of Dagestan republic is shown. Work of long-distance automobile transportations and cargo taxis in the considered years and their negative impact on the environment connected with it is investigated.
