Maksakova An attempt is made to trace the activities of the founder of the Russian school of bridge construction Nicholas Apollonovich Belelyubsky for the convening of the Commission on the inspection of the Alexander bridge, the participation in its work, conduct research on the test pieces of iron bridge in the mechanical laboratory of Railway Engineers Institute in the years 1910–1911.
