Kornilov This article substantiates a new methodological approach to the matter, which is supposing the exposure of transformations in the countryside’s economic, social, political, demographical, and cultural spheres, their evolution and paths, as well as their dynamics and intensity. Such an approach is conducive to give the more profound views on both regularities and particularities in developing the agrarian sphere and rural society of Russia during the 20th century.
