Bikkulova (Tsygankova) The work is a historical review of the main stages in the development of the history of the discovery of superionic conductors and the prospects for their use in semiconductor technology. The discovery of superionic conductors significantly changed the understanding of the structure and dynamics of the lattice, the role of stoichiometry and structural disorder in the field of condensed matter physics. The current state and future prospects of practical application of materials based on ionic and superionic conductors with the use of powerful new research methods are considered.
