Tretyakov The author presents information about equipment facilities of the Magadan civil aviation team renamed since 1966 as the Magadan Department of Civil Aviation; its responsibility was provision of aviation services for people and industries in the territory of the Magadan Region. The processes of modernization of the air fleet continued through the 1960s–1970s, when new aircraft types came into use in the northeast areas, although turboprop aircrafts were still used side-by-side with new jet planes there.
