METHODS AND MEANS OF SUPPORTING DECISIONMAKING ON ENSURING SUSTAINABLE FUNCTIONING OF INDUSTRIAL-NATURAL COMPLEXES IN THE ARCTIC ZONE OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION |

This article presents the results obtained in development of methods and technology of situational modeling of complex spatial dynamic systems, which, in particular, include industrial-natural complexes. The basic principles of the situational modeling system, focused on software support for situational analysis and modeling of such systems, are briefly described. Some variants of generalization methods and criteria to classify situations are described as well as conditions for their applicability. It is noted that the proposed cognitive method of situations classification, based on the proposed semantic hierarchical metric of situations proximity, allows to take into account expert estimates of the importance of levels in the model of an industrial-natural complex. Two aspects for coordination of tasks solved by various decision makers who manage parts of the industrial-natural complex, and a way to assess their situational awareness are considered.
